Green Rooibos is unfermented. Instead of being allowed to ferment for long periods of time, Green Rooibos is withered immediately, steamed to prevent oxidation, and then rolled and dried. The resulting tea has a higher concentration of anti-oxidants found in regular Rooibos Tea. Green Rooibos contains healthy amount of Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Floride, Manganese, Zinc, Calcium and Vitamin C. It also contains fair amount of alpha-hydroxy acid, which is known to promote healthy skin. The bag is triple layered. Outer layer is colored cellophane, middle layer is aluminum and inner layer is tissue paper. It's vapor proof, preventing any unintentional flavor transfer. Net weight 3.5 oz (100g).
